Galatians 5:13-14 It’s not that we are free to do whatever we like. No, its that we’re free to love each other deeply...and when we do this we fulfill the law.
Galatians 5:7-10 Have you ever seen yeast work? It only takes a little to change the whole batch of dough. The same can be true in the body of Christ. Have you checked in with the truth of Christ recently? Are you set on the truth or has some “yeast” got in and misguided you?
Galatians 5:6 Whether you been brought up in the church, or are outside of the church it doesn't matter. What matters is faith expressing itself through love
Galatians 4:31-5:1 If we follow Christ we should be free. How is it for you? Do you sense you are free to do the next little thing God tells you to do?
Galatians 4:29-30 These verses are hard for me to digest because I want everyone to get along in perfect harmony. The truth of the matter is two world religions have been birthed from a child and a step child. Lord Jesus thank You for coming as a child and modeling life for us as a man so we can share Your love with our spiritual stepbrothers and sisters as well as our own brothers and sisters.
Galatians 4:27-28 In a culture where having no children was frowned upon today's reading is a breathe of fresh air. I’m personally thankful for all the childless women who have taken me under their wings.
Galatians 4:22-26 This is an interesting passage as it talks about Hagar and Sarah. Have you ever thought of the significance of these two women in the role of religion in this world?
Galatians 4:19-21 Have you ever had spiritual labour pains because someone is about to be born of God? If so you’re not alone. Paul did too...or maybe you had them but didn’t recognize what they were. No matter, don’t give up on producing spiritual babies because this is how the Kingdom grows. Blessings to you.
Galatians 4:17-19 Who are you following and are they zealous for Christ or do they want you attached to rules that enslave? Don’t get me wrong...being zealous for Christ does lead to a higher standard of living but instead of a list of rules Christ accepts us where we are and works with us to bring us to the higher standard of living in His way and time.
